I’m starting Middle school and im over-weight. I way 94 pounds with the height of 4.7. First do i need to lose weight and second how to lose weight, without buying anything or going someplace? Also any tips on losing wieght on my shoulders, because i have manish shoulders. Help please!

You don’t need to lose weight.
There is a difference between "losing weight" and "getting fit." There is a difference between being "fit" and being "skinny," I suggest you go with "fit." Eat healthier, not a diet, just eat healthier. Join a sport. Running is always a good cardio exercise to get your metabolism going in the morning!
You can be 150 pounds and be fit. You can be 90 pounds and be fit. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you end up gaining weight by exercising, don’t worry about it. Judge by how you look and feel, not by what the scale says.
I’m 5’1" and about 120 pounds and still fit. I may seem short and overweight with that description, but I don’t judge by a scale.
PS: If you’re doing this because you are scared of how people will look at you, the best thing to have is self-confidence. People can see that in other people.

I am in desperate need of losing weight. I have always kept my weight the same from age 16 to 36, now all of a sudden, at age 37, I have gained 25 lbs. I guess the metabolism is finally slowing down. I really need to lose weight quick and was wondering if taking 2 weight loss supplements (Alli and All Natural Slim Quick) at the same time is dangerous.

i am feeling absolutely terrible about my weight. my parents have these weight loss supllements and diet pills in the house; i want to start taking them, but i don’t know if there are any serious risks involved that can take effect quickly.
so my question is:
if i take, say, 1 in the morning and one before exercising in the evening, how will it affect my health? will it affect it over a short period of time?
diet pills are bad for anyone at any age. they can have serious side effects. just exercise and eat about 1,500 calories a day.

Im 5ft and 8 in and weight around 145. I want to lose atleast 5-8 lbs of pure body fat. But I’ve heard that when you lose weight you also lose muscle mass and strength? Is this true? So how can I prevent myself from losing the mass of my muscle and strength while losing the fat.

I have been trying to lose about 10 lbs for a while now (1/2 a year) and I’ve been exercising about 3-5 times a week, doing at least 40 minutes of cardio, but my weight just won’t seem to budge. I’m averaged size and my BMI is about 20.4. I’m contemplating on trying Weight Watchers and my concern is that it will not work for me as most people who join the program are overweight. Has anyone of average weight tried WW and still lost weight?
